Recently, the ergot sulfur produced by Shanghai Yunluo has obtained the EU COSMOS natural certification granted by ECOCERT in France.
Ergothionein (EGT) is a natural and rare chiral amino acid. In 1909, it was isolated by Charles Tanret from ergot (the sclerotia of the ergot fungus and the small headed ergot fungus), hence its name. EGT can only be obtained from food and cannot be synthesized by animal and plant organisms themselves. As a chiral amino acid that is a natural antioxidant, it has significant antioxidant and anti-aging effects. It has been recognized by GRAS in the United States and listed as a new resource food by the European Union.
